![]() You can use javascript to trigger all these events. I am not sure if you have created your Quiz in Coppercube as well, If you want your player to show quiz whenever he reaches to a door and then after completion of the quiz open the door, then you need to use Javascript variables with proximity on the door.įor example when in proximity of the door1, check the variable "Quiz1" value, if it's value is "True" then open the door, otherwise switch to quiz and ask the player to complete the quiz on completion of the quiz set the variable 'Quiz1" value to "True" so that the door can be opened. I got a quiz coded (with html/java/css) for a website - but dont know where to link it up to inside the game engine editior to make it work in the game.ĭo I just put the java coding in and ignore the html and css? do i combine all 3 languages into the javascript space in the game editor? do the files need to be in a certain folder to activate the linkages? or more to the point- it brought up more questions. ![]() I read everything for the second time, but still did not get the answer. "Triggers a user definable action when the active camera or another 3D object moves close to the 3D object this behavior is attached to."ĭepending on how complex you want to get, it can carry you a long way. Look in the documentation for the On proximity do something behavior. I already found the behavior command to start a new scene.but what I am looking for is a way to bump into a door or node to activate a pre-trigger quiz or puzzle that needs to be solved before the trigger is allowed to open the door. With over 400 locations across 47 states, as well as Canada, you're sure to find a location near you. which I have already figured out that I may need to downscale and separate the sections of the buildings and floors into recreated 'rooms' of 1 room per scene. LL Flooring is the premiere hardwood flooring retailer in North America, serving both the professional installer and do-it-yourself customers. ![]() I am using coppercube 6 engine and the first scene is a huge 6-floor building. waiting for that.įrom most important to me needs 64 bit functionality for better memory access (or minimum patch to access full 2GB ram with still running 32 bit on 64 machine), PBR materials, maybe DX11 (although from what I read slows down the FPS for little improvement ?), able to pause sounds, better debugging on javascript errors, able to edit some behaviours like collision (ie turn off gravity when needed), better dynamic lighting (max 4 point lights per scene ?), actual spot light working etc.Ambiera Forum > CopperCube > Help with CopperCube Each engine has its positives and negatives.CopperCube just needs a refresh and update some cool new stuff. Yes, there are ways around coding to some extent in both Unity and Unreal but still you have like 3-6 months learning time to really get comfortable using those engines.with CopperCube only takes a few days to get a very good feel for everything (almost everything) and then just add some javascript to make it better if you want to code.or not - up to you. I did a lot of research on other engines and unless you know C++ or C# already then its not easy to make a game with many of the other engines out there. I have to agree with you here - to get things done quick and easy, CopperCube is one of the best around. You want a texture in it? Fast as a snap, just add and apply! go do that in other engines, you'd pulll your hair out in frustration! ![]() Several popular engines and CC has proven to be the fastest development engine, beating Godot, Unreal and Unity! I am so happy CopperCube is still getting some love and attention.
